Speaking as someone who was last here when you drew this picture and left DA around about that time... I think it's an improvement. The overall style seems unchanged but the technique between the gaps feels more confident and knowledgeable. Things that were more blurred in your old style look confidently, casually detailed to better effect and a more solid portrayal.
Mostly the hands, but you've had the pink-knuckle style since I've first known you. Just that now the pinkness blends with a more accurate hand silhouette and a more to-life shading and shaping.
So that the same thing you were doing since years before is getting, slowly and steadily, better.

Well I'm glad I'm improving, even if it's slowly. I think I was just in a slump before and feeling kinda depressed over it.
